I was redirected to PBnation earlier too.
Yuku was bought by CrowdGather late last year. They recently changed their redirects so that whenever you try to access a missing page it just blindly sends you to one of their sites at random.
You have every right to be dissatisfied. I certainly am, and I've made that point
abundantly clear to Yuku's current owners. Either Yuku's going to improve dramatically within a matter of
weeks, or we're going to switch platforms. There's no third option.
I bet NT would migrate so fast if it were to happen...
Please. How many sneaker sites have message boards? Now, how many sneaker sites have message boards hosted by Yuku? That's what I thought.
The issue isn't competition. It's just not as simple as flipping a switch. I've explained it over and over again, but if people choose to ignore the complexity of the issue and wish to believe that we could just pick up and move to another platform at the drop of a hat that's on them. We have millions of existing posts, tens of thousands of existing user accounts, and no effective way to transfer them. Imagine all of the work you have to do to start a new site - hosting, skinning, ad infrastructure, contracts, etc. and now add to that headache the task of converting 5+ years of data from a proprietary format without any backend database access.

I wouldnt be surprised if someone outside of the NT staff was working on an alternative upgrade to NT outside of Yuku... Wouldnt surprise me at all..
