Jordan 1 Chicago - Reimagined aka Lost and Found - November 19, 2022

Sometimes you have to pay a little more before release because some shoes go up even more once they release.

Loser mentality right there

never understood the concept of paying well above retail prices before a release

yes i understand peace of mind but dam dont count yourself out, but I know money isnt an issue to some so paying resale is nothing

Because if you hit you can sell that pair and get your money back.

If you dont hit, just hope you didnt overpay but a lot of times its under what the resale would be.

The Thought Of Nike Actually “STOPPING Resellers” Is Laughable At This Point Bruh :rolleyes

Meanwhile…

Son!

Let's say they were "stolen" from a truck or train, given the prices they are going for in the resale market, that's possibly a 40k to 60k come up... that's bananas!

But I'm leaning more towards a mom and pop or boutique offloading their product, which is also bananas... they want a piece of the action too

Man, this sneaker game is crazy

I dont think the markup is as much as we think it is. The stores with Nike accounts are prbly asking for twice the retail price and selling it in bulk to the resellers. Resellers are asking for an additional $3-400 or something close to that, on top of each pair. Lets say they get 40 pairs from a single store. That's 12k and then they gotta go and barter with other stores and get all their stock. I don't condone reselling but its just a Ponzi scheme to make money at this point. On that tangent, I walked into a store today and grabbed the orange air ships lol. Asked the dude at the store if they were sellin out and he's like nope, full size run. People only come in for pairs they can flip (dunks, Jordan 4s, and jjjjound asics collabs)

Thinking these stores are willing to backdooor shoes for maybe an extra $100 over retail and possibly loosing their Nike Account is crazy. These shoes are stolen and fakes are definitely mixed in. These replica manufacturers have the same Nike containers because they also make legit products. It’s already been confirmed.

Stores are definitely doing it though.

Most of the time it's a manager-type not the owner. They don't care if they lose the account.

NikeTalk imaginations run wild 😂

So the owner just like, maybe all the Jordan 1s that were in the stock room just vanished and won’t ask questions??? Right….

or maybe all of these are fakes and are being passed as real, and nobody knows what the real looks like yet

Most of the time when you're an owner, you probably step foot in the door once a week? Once a month at that? This is why you hire managers.

As an owner, the point is that you let the business run and make money, while you're out doing other things.

Most owners aren't worrying about stock/inventory like that. You pay others to deal with that.
