Jordan 1 High Black/Red Reimagined - December 30, 2021

I think alot of people online just be high sidin/frontin on release day. I think the majority of everybody that are into shoes buy on the resell market nowadays. I say that because I know people who put in work before the release date, and they're starting to strike out way more now than compared to how frequently they use to it. Then it's the same "im a go ahead and bite the bullet and pay resell on one pair before prices go up" statement.

I personally think alot of people on here, ig and on other sites be lying. Yes, some of us might get lucky sometimes, but I don't think everybody is hitting on every release, unless if they're plugged in some type of way. Logically thinking, if there's only 100,000 to 500,000 pairs of a certain retro 1's made (depending on the production numbers on certain 1's), with a exceptionally high rate of demand in between customers and resellers, add on logistic issues along with the high numbers of backdooring, then that should show you there's way more people who are catching L,s.

Being on Niketalk and on ig and other sites, you would think everybody is hitting all of the time for retail as a regular consumer, which isn't happening. It's either resellers/bot users, people plugged in, or the people that are actually the plug that are online always saying they hit on release day consistently.

With everything that's going on right now, i know more people who are just the average consumer who pay resell on the release day or some time after the release.

There's not even enough pairs for the high demand/and obstacles invloved for people to score at retail like online would have you thinkin everybody does.
Maybe you're right. I don't want to speak for anyone, but feel like the people I know locally hit pretty consistently.

GS pair arrived last week from FTL

Still waiting on SNKRS for movement

I would say that most people that do hit consistently either have multiple people trying for them on snkrs or have multiple accounts with different devices. If you're only trying with a single account, then yea, you're most likely gonna take L's more often than not.

I think a lot of it depends on where you are located too. From reading these boards it seems like it’s a lot harder To hit on the in stores in places like NYC or LA than it is for me to hit where I’m at in Cleveland. SNKRS is a tossup no matter what but I can usually hit 1 way or another if I try hard enough and I work 60 hr weeks. I was able to grab like 4 pairs of CG XI’s at retail and a pair of PL 1’s for me and a GS pair for my lady at retail as well. Folks were complaining at both of those releases. I can’t remember the last time I missed on a Jordan I wanted that wasn’t some sort of off white type limited collab that I had to depend on solely SNKRS for. Im not a guy that goes for every release, last year I probably went for 8-9 pairs throughout the year and didn’t have a huge problem getting anything that I can remember. I did end up paying resell for south beach 8’s now that I think about it but that was the only pair all year I had to resort to that. But even then honestly I didn’t put much effort into copping if I’m being honest.

Won our Fantasy Football Championship tonight, which is $360 & an awesome trophy. So I went ahead and ordered a pair of these bad boys from GOAT. Now anytime I wear them, I’ll feel like a champ!
:emoji_fire:. I won 🥈 this year (I was in the 🚽 bowl last year, so no complaints lol) and plan to grab these and/or the black Patta 1s

Anyone still waiting on their ea pair for jdsports/finishline.? They shipped my men's & gs but only the gs arrived. Men's still showing in transit to UPS facility

i feel this. i only collect lebrons, and other than catching the one's no one cares about on sale, i've had to go to the secondary market for the hyped drops. mercari, stockx, and goat. the latter two, i HATE paying extra for. unfortnately, it's necessary. i didn't hit on ANY jordan i tried for during 2021. not... a... single... one.
