Slept on these heavy. Might be easier than I thought for these to rub off, you can see some a nice portion of red before the toebox already and that’s how they came in the last pic.

Ya I don't see the appeal in altering the shoe... The Chicago color is fire but the Lakers are fine as is imo... Going to keep mines as is and keep the Lakers colorway

Finally had time to pickup all Snkrs purchases and review latest Jordan: 1 Retro High OG Defiant SB LA to CHI. Went usual true to size Nike 10.5 with exact width and about extra half thumb length. Colorway, design and concept on point. Seen so many decent ways to custom, but still not sure which way to go. Natural as is might win out. Latest trend of extra laces been good. Great addition to Collection.

Had another purchase from SX that had some issues, so SX provided me with a apology code, got my 11.5 tonight for $273. Felt that was the cheapest I could get them for on the open market, so scooped.

Not really. Pogo in Birmingham might be worth checking out. Other than that you have Nojo's downtown but the a resell shop.
