Honestly, the shoe I'm most worried about concerning the mold is the 7s. I had to pass on every single pair of 7s released in 2012 due to the mold change (And the fact that the raptors were all black).

I specifically noticed that the angle on the arch at the top of the 7

had changed, in addition to the overall shape of the shoe just being sloppy IMO. The French Blues have a shape similar to the 2012 7's.

Design issues are never gonna be the same as the originals.  It probably never will.  That arch is one of those subtle changes that goes along with any retro.  You'll see things like warped shapes, elongated tongues on the XIV, etc.  Just how it is and take it in stride.

Remastered is just a 'synonym' for 'premium'.  Basically just a tag.
