4s were always my favorites, until I picked up some Black Cement 3s in 2001 on clearance for $75. Shoe was solid. 3s are just so low maintenance compared to the 4s.

Wow, some of these recent pics have horrible EP compared to recent 3 releases; are they actually legit? Also, can we stick to the shoes and stop with the Lebron vs. MJ crap? Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but isn't there a thread for that, and we can keep the WC3 thread talk on the shoes?

In terms of looks it’s debatable. The 3 is def more iconic imo. In terms of comfort, it’s not debatable, 3’s are substantially more comfortable than 4’s.4s have always been better than 3s, this is nothing new

3 ands 4s are a toss up for me…
Leaning towards 4s though, considering the two non-Bulls OG colorways I got Military Blue 4s over True Blue 3s, and Mist Blue 4s are a top 3-5 LS/Retro+ colorway, though DTRT 3s don’t fall far behind in that convo…

I would say they are. That elephant print is everything, total game changer. First Jordan to have visible air units, free throw line dunk, jump man logo, etc. The 4’s have their own legacy and iconic moments (“the shot”, DTRT) but the 3 is REALLY the shoe that started it all and the 4 built upon that.
That being said, the 11 is more iconic than EITHER of them
