Jordan Retro 1 '85 Black/Red Feb 14th 2025

The OG high has always been taller in the back than the 85 cut. Really don’t know what point you’re making
My point is, “original” 85s supposed to be higher, im sure these 2025 version of 85 is lower than the recent 85s If JB is charging us extra $50 for this detail then why not make them the exact height.

That was addressed. There were originally two different heights based on the different factory runs. They chose the shorter one to model. And probably did so with the 85 cut when they went to introduce it. It’s not inaccurate even if it’s not your preference.

We’re talking maybe a cm at most too with the 85 height vs OG high. In hand the difference isn’t noticeable. And towers over the mids.

Joggers or sweat pants with the traditional scrunchie cuffs at the bottom? There’s a difference. Regular sweat pants with sneakers will never go out of style. It’s engraved in street wear forever. ‘Joggers’ are *pants with scrunchie cuffs at the bottom which is definitely bad (I absolutely hate those, never owned or would rock those) but traditional Champion/gym style sweats will forever be official with sneakers/Jordans, idc. Following silly trends like wearing overly baggy sized pants just because it’s 2025 is what’s diabolical. You got maybe 1-1.5 years max left of that mess of a fad before it’s gone faster than it came. There’s a happy medium between looking crazy in some skinny jeans and looking just as wild/crazy in some super baggy jeans lol.

Who remembers those flared zipper monstrosities?

IIRC now that I'm thinking about it L&Fs changed the shape, they even made the swoosh bigger too. So everything that's "regular OG high" is using that mold now? Or just OG colors that aren't 85s?
I believe L&F was first of the OG high 2.0 remastered last and has been used since. But the 2015-16 mold was taller than the 85 cut as well.

Let’s just say nobody really knows

🤞 These end up being released like the Rebellionaire‘s were…

A $250 price tag and claims of being "obsessed with details" but the hangtag says Air Jordan III on the inside :nthat:
That’d be hilarious. It says “AIR JORDAN HI,” but from afar and with a bad camera it could be mistaken for a “III”

Pretty sure when the shoe was first released, it was just called the “Air Jordan” without any numbers. That came later.

Now it's 23k?

Still really low. But better.
I feel like if they make 23,000 pairs the resale won't be 1000+. but still going to be high. Nike should release at least 40,000 pairs because it's the 40th anniversary but if they really care about true Jordan fans then 100k-125k pairs would be the sweet spot. Maybe even 150k.
