Jordan Retro 1 '85 Black/Red Feb 14th 2025

Well yeah but those OGs are not being replicated for softness of the leather, which is a whole other story. I’ll be trying for those later this year. Wonder if the OGs will drop more closer we get. If OGs get to 6 I might bite… idk.

85s leather is a thicker and stiffer cut. It’s funny to me how those shattered 🚀 up, but I’ve NEVER seen them in person.

I actually saw a dude rocking Kaws greys beat to death in the gym the other day. Props to that dude.
Might be PK batch

They were already over that for my size (13). This release has been cooked since the limited production numbers were made public.

You think that's bad my shoe size is a 12.5. Them ***** are going to be going for the size of a new car, after they release.

:smh::smh::smh::smh::smh::smh::smh:

So like most of the time, it's going to size 13 or BUST.

85s in general (minus the recent Burgs and 85 lows) generally went for $700 and up prior to release, hopefully the 23k total stock rumor is true and we'll see a significant decrease in price after release.

Seems the hype for this shoe is entirely manufactured and has almost been entirely pushed by Complex among a handful of other social medias. Resellers will try and capitalize of course because the sneaker market resell wise has been dead and they'll try to take advantage of NTers who truly appreciate the shoe.

Just looking at the data for bids and sales on StockX, a majority of the bids are no where near the asking prices. People are not willing to spend this amount of $$ on pairs at this point. Prices will def come down.

23K pairs now? That’s is still nothing. I’m not even a huge 1’s guy but this is by far my favorite Jordan 1. Unless I hit for retail miraculously somehow I probably won’t own a pair of these. F JB for this bs.

I’m not falling for this manufactured hype. The last 1 that released that had any type of major buzz was the Lost and Founds and that was when ? 2022? Nobody is checking for 1’s like that except for old heads and enthusiasts. The price on these will come back to earth at some point. Not falling for Nikes tricks. I’d say resell will be in the 4-500 range for most sizes after the smoke clears.

Yeah I don’t see these clearing 5 bills when the dust settles. It’ll be interesting to see how raffles treat NT though. I really wouldn’t be surprised if there’s dozens of winners here and the small quantities don’t disappoint nearly as much as everyone is worried about. But yeah, these aren’t gonna be moving for a grand.

Now, and forever... it always retail or

Most likely a bust tho...

There's lots of fake Kaws 4's out there. If a dude is wearing a beat pair to the gym they most likely fake.
I had a pair of mars yard 2.0 that I beat up and used to do whatever in and I’m pretty sure most people probably thought they were fake or no way this guy is this crazy:lol:

Wild hot take but I'd rather have the upcoming 85 chicago lows 😂 still wear my bred lows from 2015. I seem to gravitate toward low shoes when going out. When joggers was poppin 10 years ago I was all about highs then but styles change/burnt out

We have to stay strong and not pay high resale. Prices will drop. Like you said most people won't pay $700+. But die hard collectors/Jordan fans will. Have to stay strong.

If there’s only 10,000 pairs, i don't see how these ever dip below $1000.

Too many folks out there willing to dip into their savings to get these.
