Yes, absolutely. Ask Nike, they've done pretty well for recent quarters over the past. They made more available, as a result they've sold more. Nike marketing understands and it's shareholders are doing well. They're just cutting into the resale market more than they used to.
you are a simpleton. black toe 14 is siiting... your argument lost. if you think thats good for the brand then i'll just sit this one out.

That doesn't mean that there aren't diminishing, and even negative, returns to unlimited production. I don't think there's much doubt that one reason the retro Jordans sell well and that there is an aura about them that drives hype is that they aren't available all the time and in unlimited quantities. By restricting supply, they stoke demand and keep people like us anticipating the shoes.
It's doesn't matter, their profits and sales are doing really well with increased production. They've spent years on marketing the cat and mouse of limited and general releases and now it's finally paying off and Nike and it's holders is cashing in.

Old tried and true method of throwing the "Limited" moniker at these kind of didn't work out this time did it?

Release an XIII with 3M and Suede Midsole with "Limited" label? Should have been an instant hit but then they threw that "Premium" $200 price point out there...

This is Jordan Brand shooting themselves in the foot...

For JB to say themselves that all their retro product released prior to their Spring 2015 runs is sub-par quality, yet still continue with price increases, tells me they were over confidant in their consumer base...Hype will only take Nike / JB so far before the consumer actually starts to open their eyes and at this point JB is dangerously close to crossing that line...

Yes, but what they are NOT doing is simply making a retro shoe available all the time in unlimited quantities. That means they do NOT subscribe to the view of "the more the merrier". It just means that they think they can make more profits by boosting production over the previous, more restricted, level of production, and as you say, so far they have been correct about that.

But I don't think either you or I believe the day will ever come when you or I can walk into a footlocker any day of the year and there will be a pair of Jordan XI Breds sitting their waiting for us.

Good point.....but Nike and JB will not back down on prices. Prices will increase...not decrease regardless of sell. Remember, JB always said he wanted his shoes to be luxury and limited. Which is why they did what they did for the 28

There will always be limited production shoes to keep the thristy consumers satisfied, but they've also noticebly increased production on their more popular models. I, selfishly as a consumer appreciate that. So far, it hasn't been a negative for Nike's line.

no. they haven't.

What is the point of arguing this stuff? I thought it was a good thing if a shoe sits and production has increased. Look at black/red and gamma XIs, Black Friday releases for the last 2 years as well as numerous GR releases from last year lol saying production hasn't increased is plain stupid

thats why the black toe 14's are sitting. just stop.
Stop what? They made an og colorway readily available for those that want it. If you're suggesting that by nike selling several hundred thousand pairs of a shoe model that originally came out 15+ years ago, is bad for business, I'm not sure what to tell you. Many original colorways "sat" across the country for months, did that mean Nike failed then as well?

Ry you have been very helpful man this is my first DS experience type of shoe so I plan on doing this alot more often maybe collect them even...who knows
