I think that is a good enough excuse to break up. Honestly it's all dependent on the person whether it be the girlfriend or the boyfriend breaking up. I just had a conversation with my guy friends about money with women and how one of my friends doesn't care about that and the other one does. No one is really wrong in this scenario so just do what makes you happy.
