KENDRICK LAMAR: "GOOD KID M.A.A.D CITY"

I'm not even gonna lie , I wasn't even a fan until I listened to this album :smokin
I will Definatly be checking for him from here on out

It would be dope if he released a video for The Art of Peer Pressure but I know it won't happen :\

Shyne dont like the album cus track 1 got cats acceptin Jesus. Shyne a thugg Jew now. He gotta hear about Christ on almost every track n he aint diggin that, but to poon to admit cus he dont wanna make it bout religion. He prolly like it on tha low but mad he cant bump this in the synagog.

It do sound funny but im dead serius tho. He dont have to like it, but he callin it trash tho? he gave the reasoning of the beats being trash? im not buying it.
if thats the case Nas is a bum to him them. Dude mad cause Kendrick pushin Jesus on his record while shyne still tryna learn how to spin a draydel and keep his yamaka on at the same time. Again, it culd not be your taste, or be borin, you dont like the robo voice. but trash? keep it kosher man

You ever been in the Kanye, Drake, or Wayne threads?

Money Trees, Compton, Don't Kill My Vibe, maad city, and Poetic Justice are in non-stop rotation right now, though playing the album from start to finish definitely makes it better.

When through the album for a 3rd time and though it didn't change my life like it seemed to do for some, it's still a very very good debut album. No gimmicks yet still stands out from a lot of other stuff.
I slightly disagree...but thats a whole other conversation.

screw traditional videos. I honestly want him to shoot a straight-to-DVD film using all these songs (like Jay-Z did for "Streets Is Watching"). Get John Singleton, Spike Lee, or Antoine Fuqua and shoot it right in Compton.

I was just thinking this.
My only complaint about the album is the intro to "Art of Peer Pressure" should have been a full song and the hook for "Real".

This album is OUTSTANDING!!!

No one else is feelin that bonus track Collect Calls?
That song is FIRE to me.
My favorite bonus track, top 5 track from the album period. I kinda wish it made the album near the end, i think it could of fit.

:Nthat

'gang signs hangin out the window you bish you bish...hopin all of em offend you, you bish you bish!" :smokin

1. Heard Ross on that "DIAND" and instantly deleted his verse.
2. Poetic Justice is nice but it's the least played song for me because of Drake being on it.
3. I don't see why people care what Shyne says. And I seriously believe some of you people that are upset about him calling this album trash have called other albums trash.

As much as I love Lupe, this album deserves to be called the Great American Rap Album instead of F&L2

Do y'all think me letting an 11 year old listen to this is cool or nah? Because I was debating on whether to give this to my 11 year old cousin

When I was growing up, 11 year olds were listening to Country Grammar and The Slim Shady LP. I think 11 year olds these days can handle Kendrick's material :lol

They may not grasp the story and morals though.
