They should bring Kobe in to coach, since playing under Phil seems to be prerequisite to being qualified to coach.

been saying we need a vet or two in the line up at all times. luke get with the program

they giving the wheel to toddlers

Luke needs to punch Lonzo and/or Ingram in the chest during a timeout... in front of America for everyone to see.

Lonzo has absolutely no fire and he’s not a leader at all. Someone legit needs to punch him in the face and maybe he will wake up.

They’re all just going through the motions. I don’t see any passion from anyone on this team.

When you have more talent and lose to teams like the Knicks & the Cavs... it’s strictly due to a lack of intensity. We should be beating both of those teams even if we’re shooting 32%

The players Laker fans really hated the last few years showed way more at their respective careers than a good amount of these young guys on this team. They also didn’t have close to the opportunities the ones on the team now have.

Maybe they just aren’t as good as we thought/expected?

Do we have more talent though lol? Without Lebron. I’m genuinely asking. Is our talent really that much better?

Did they now? Lot of revisionist history going on here lately. Go back to Ratsull's 2nd year, Juju's 3rd year and Clarkson's tenure. It really parallels Zo/Ingram/Kuz respectively. We we're lamenting their faults and lack of effort. Only difference is now that Bron is here the spotlight is even bigger and they don't have the luxury of patience from the fanbase anymore.

Literally all of our young guys have improved from last year, We have turned late first rounders into starting level talent in their second years.... & somehow the Lakers "can't develop young talent".

When bron back?..

Pls make them just shoot fts in practice for at least the next two months or so..

Josh Hart ain't a starter though. Tried to tell ya'll. He's getting exposed with more minutes. Great to come off the bench.

juju was literally josh Hart. We complained about his one dumb offensive foul per game average :lol

DSlo couldn’t blow by any bigs (Boris diaw :lol) and played with no fire.

JC was a good scorer but played no D.

Nance had no outside game and missed a bunch of layups

Y’all forgot already

Lavar Ball has even said that about Lonzo. That he needs someone to be yelling at him to get him going

Nah not many players improved from their rookie years. Kuz? Nope. Shooting career lows. Ingram? Nope been basically the same dude every year. And now he can’t hit 3s. Zo? Probably got worse. Hart? Equal or worse. Randle? Improved slightly every year. Bigger jump in improvement as soon as he goes to New Orleans. Same with Russell and Brooklyn.

Plus you see the same issues repeatedly. Lonzo’s free throws. His finishing at the rim technique etc.

Yes he will be.

Jeanie is not going to fire him mid season.

They made it clear this wasn't the year...

Next year is supposed to be the year. Until we strike out in free agency.
So does that mean fire him mid season next year, because that sounds like a worse idea.

OH NO. These boys would rebel like the young Bulls if Kobe came in. They would need time to adjust to the difference in coaching styles. He would be calling them dudes all sorts of names in practice. The only ones who would be cool would be the vets, that is what they grew up with, perhaps Lebron not so much.

I’m here for shooting coach Kobe teaching LeBronze how to shoot like he taught him how to win a gold medal

But Josh could be a starter that is just it, he needs to smarten up on defense and attack the basket when his shot isn't falling.

Looking back, there weren't a lot of good choices in 2016; Everyone wanted one of Puke, Scott Brooks or Thibs. :lol
