The last time that we paid into the luxury tax was two CBAs ago when the penalty for going over the cap was much lower (no repeat offended penalty). No owner is trying to pay that kinda money year after year. Also, we were paying into the tax for a title contender, not a Scrappy young team that will barely make the playoffs

Man, I was aboard the keep the young guys bandwagon, but with klay probably having a torn ACL and KD out next season I say we go all in for AD and signing another superstar this summer. The west just got wide open for us

He was running around trying to convince them to let him stay in too. Wild sequence. Went from thinking "damn he's done", to "this dude just made a Pierce miracle recovery", to "he'll be back in the 4th", then finally done for the game.
