Bron has definitely evolved in this approach to things and being a Laker. When he first got here it was 'I got nothing to prove'. That clip from 2019 was him starting to get that nothing was going to be handed to him and that you have to earn this fanbase's respect and ultimately that comes by hanging banners above all else. His quotes today fully embrace everything. They'll be no more slander from me once he delivers.

There's only a select few who have the internal makeup to carry the torch and pass it to the next. Bron is without a doubt one of them.

DLo, Lonzo, Ingram, Randle....none of them pretenders are built like that. The Brons and Kobes of the world are built different.

Looks like AD will slowly adopt the mentality too, as he continues to learn from Bron like he did from Kobe. AD showing flashes he can put a team on his back and lead on both ends of the floor.

But lakers weren’t only team in the bubble. Everyone’s circumstances were similar. You can argue lakers had it worse missing their lead assistant coach AND starting 2 guard.
