But we are in GREAT shape considering the lack of rest/offseason, new parts, covid, and injuries. If we're healthy in the playoffs, good luck to everyone else.

The advanced stats on drummonds defense are not great. He essentially only can play drop coverage and when he does he’s rated like bottom of the pile. (Like bottom 20 percentile).

Damian Jones rated higher in all types of pick and roll defense.

'99-01 Lakers over any of those Warriors title teams any day. KD's effectiveness would've been minimized by Fox and Horry's savvy on defense while Glen Rice makes both Iggy and KD work harder on D.

GSW would have a hard time scoring with penetration cause Shaq, Horace, A.C., and Horry are all so tough inside and they would've solely relied on threes, and most of all the 2 best players on the court at all times are Shaq and Kobe.

LAL in 6, cause Shaq, Lakers' D, Phil and the triangle for the most part will cause the flow of the game to slow down.

Imagine DFish, Kobe, and BShaw all taking turns hounding Curry the length of the floor each time down.

Was watching game 1 of the 2001 Finals a couple weeks back and it was comical how he dominated everyone. Every dunk had so much damn power, not to mention his post game, etc. He might be right when saying he'd average close to 50 in today's NBA.

I'd imagine that Gasol will play tomorrow and will get a big man on the buyout market with the next three or four days. I do like what I've seen from Jones in limited action though

Need reinforcements asap. Here's where having a LA Marcus Aldridge would be a luxury.

It's clear Trez can't be a number 1 option and I wouldn't rely on Scroder either way. Aldridge is a proven 20-plus ppg scoring threat.
