They criticize him for nothing, absolutely nothing.

For "hustle" for "desire" for "energy"

Those aren't real critique's. Those are BS cliches.

Like the tough, gritty, hard working, white guy praise.

That's what you guys devour, not actual analysis of his work.

Intangibles mean nothing? Most times when you go into a job interview they are assessing you from a technical standpoint but mainly checking to see if your character fits the mold of the company. Character is intangible but it can have tangible effects.

Hardworking, hustle, and energy are things an employer looks for. people who have these traits can get picked over people who have more talent because they work hard and be molded to push past their "ceiling."

I see a talented player and Dlo but not someone who will maximize there potential.

Just my 2 cents

Lol at comparing a 9-5 interview to sport "intangibles"

Lemme ask you a question, because Harden doesn't give 100% effort like Pat Beverley does on every defensive possession, does he lack intangibles? Does he lack heart and hustle?

If you're saying you think Dlo's lazy and doesn't work off the court. How the **** would you know? He doesn't post **** on social media. Coaches say he shoots before and after practice. How do you know how much time is put in the weight room and in the gym?

If you're saying he's lazy on the court and looks like he gives up at times, yeah, I can agree with that. He has some bad habits, but I think that's stuff that can be fixed with time and a winning team/environment.

Luke has been saying from day one that dlo genuinely tries to do everything the coaching staff asks him to do. That's something that has been echoed repeatedly throughout the season

Luke Walton in his post practice interview today (speaking about Dlo):

"Like I've said the whole year, he's done a great job of working. You know, he's been putting in the extra time before and after practice."

Per Elias Sports Bureau on D'Angelo Russell: He is the 1st NBA player to make at least 7 3's in at least 3 games before turning 22 years old

We should def trade this dude before he reaches his prime.

Better hurry up while his stock is high.

I know it's a 9 game stretch so small sample size and all that.

But the only players to average equal to or greater than 23.8 ppl, 5.2 apg & 41.6 3pt% for a full season are:

Curry (2015-2016 & 2013-2014 seasons)
Bird (85-86 & 84-85 seasons)
MJ (94-95 season) (the season where he returned and only played 17 games)

Only 3 of the greatest NBA players in history.

And Dlo just turned 21 a month ago :{
The Future is real bright :smokin

So basically only curry and bird. Don't know why MJ was included

Curry is going to be one of the greatest? Wow

Will he even be a top 10 PG? I'm not so sure

The NBA didn't start in 2015

You know, dude, he has about 10 years left. He can get injured today for all we know

At his current pace he will end up being the greatest shooter of all time, I can agree to that

But you said Curry, Bird and MJ are 3 of the greatest players of all time.

I said 3 of the greatest players. Not the 3 greatest.

Curry already the best shooter of all time. Plus he has 2 MVPs and a Ring. He'll go down as one of the GOATs.

If it takes you this long to come around on Steph, you're not gunna be rocking with Dlo until he retires huh :lol

Curry is the greatest shooter ever and had arguably the greatest offensive regular season ever last year.

Yup. Dude avg 30 and sat 28 4th quarters.

I was legit hurt when they signed KD cuz I knew it would affect curry and last year watching golden state was watching some of the best basketball I had ever seen. Dude was just launching that thing for real

His last season was BEYOND UNREAL! Probably the best season we'll ever witness in YEARSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS to come. How he has the entire NBA, SPORTS and WORLD at a stand steal.

Greatest shooter ever isn't the same as "one of the 3 greatest PLAYERS of all time"

I've already said at this pace, he will go down as the greatest shooter ever

I never said top 3 bro. I said those 3 are a part of the group of greatest NBA players.

U know I'd have Kareem in my top 3 lol

Gotcha, I think he'll be the best shooter ever and top 15-20 overall, depending on rings and total points

Man...

I have been in the Laker thread for over 10 years.

The love/hate for D.Lo is close to the love/hate Kobe got.

There is no middle ground.

Crazy when one hasn't accomplished anything to warrant either extreme.

Youngest player to reach 40 on a Lakers roster is an accomplishment. Not 1 I care about. But it is an accomplishment.

So that's DLo and Ingram people wanted gone and all they've done is show signs of improvement. Gotta love it.

Kobe only got hate from ska from what I remember.

There were a few more. But as far as commanding attention in this thread, D.Lo is 2nd to Kobe.
