That bleacher report Deal would probably be beneficial but it's the Lakers so we know teams won't do it

Scotto: The Lakers have been linked to Dejounte Murray, but I don’t see them moving Austin Reaves for him. Zach LaVine has also come up in trade talks, and names like D’Angelo Russell and Rui Hachimura have popped up, but Chicago’s need for a point guard may have decreased with the way Coby White has played. He’s averaging about 18 points, five rebounds, and five assists.
Marks: I think LaVine, especially after they went through the Russell Westbrook top-heavy roster with three max guys under the old CBA, you’d basically have to trade at least three players, maybe even four, to get the money to work. You’re looking at a combination of Hachimura, Russell, and another guy. They’ve got one first-round pick then can trade in 2029. From what I’ve been told, and certainly things change, there’s no appetite to add a third max guy.
Murray is interesting because he’s making just under $20 million. What does Russell and a first-round pick do for Atlanta? When you work in a front office, what I’ve learned is that there’s a pride element to things. They just traded for Murray a year and a half ago, and they gave up two unprotected firsts and an unprotected pick swap that has not yet come to fruition. If you’re Atlanta and you’re saying you need to get those back in another deal, I think you’re going to be waiting a while. I don’t think you’re going to get what you gave up for him.
If I’m the Lakers, I’d see about Alex Caruso and DeMar DeRozan, but you might have to give up Austin Reaves in that type of deal. DeRozan could become a free agent, and Caruso’s got one of the better contracts.
There are plenty of wonderful possibilities with a three team trade sending DLo to Chicago, AR to ATL, and Rui plus picks or other players to either ATL and/or CHI to acquire any 2-3 player combination among these players:

Man if we can get Markannen it would elevate this team to another level. But Utah will want two arms and two legs plus picks for Lauri for sureMurray, Capela, Caruso, Bogdanovich are who I'd want of that list. I'd add nets and Utah as sellers at trade deadline too
Reaves and all our picks/swaps is pretty much all we could throw at them. Might be enough to get the job done depending on how they value Reaves though. They've desperately needed guards for couple years nowMan if we can get Markannen it would elevate this team to another level. But Utah will want two arms and two legs plus picks for Lauri for sure

Haven't seen much of Murray, what that 3 ball looking like doe?
Jazz say no. They want young talent/picks or assets to trade
Thinking more about it I think Murray is the best option right now of the gettable guys.
