Lakers should’ve made moves to acquire Valanciunas two years ago when they passed on going after Myles Turner and maybe they would’ve had someone to help AD bang with Jokic in the playoffs.

Imagine if AD had JV next to him playing against Jokic and the undersized Gordon. Now it would be advantage Lakers simply because of size and length alone.

Think it was more Pooles' career high 9 3-pointers, 39 points than anything to attribute the Wizards win. After 16 straight losses, someone bound to get hot on the Wizards eventually. Valanciunas is more offense and a minus on defense

We need a big that is going to grab rebounds. Our biggest problem is everything is funneled to AD and when miss shots happen, our guys don't back him up and rebound.
Vuc grabs a ton of rebounds and can spread the floor on the other side.
Vuc is the move IMO.

I mean if Jazz are trading Kessler, I'd trade for Kessler over both.
But also, I'd trade for JV before I'd trade for Vuc. Easier to trade for. Also Valenciunas is the better rebounder. Both stink as defenders.
Remember whoever they trade for, for center is not playing 30 minutes. He's going to play closer to 20 than he does 30.
There's also not a single backup who plays more than 25 mpg.
Neither of those 2 fit particularly well. You're only trading for it to not have Hayes or Koloko play more than 3-4 minutes in a game. 15 if somebody is injured. So pass on having to find salaries to trade for that.
