jason terry is also one of the greatest 3pt shooters of all time
idk about that man...

steve blake, cj watson, shane battier, rashard lewis, mike bibby, raja bell, bobby simmons to name a few...all have higher percentages than him.

jason terry has been clutch but i wouldnt say hes "the greatest of all time" in any category
only 3 people in the history of the nba have made more 3pters than he has and he is 50 away from becoming #3

Let's pick up everyones scrap in the 2014 NBA Lottery aside from Embiid, Wiggins, Parker, Exum and Smart etc...

Wes

Kobe

Henry

Our 1st rounder

2014 Lottery picks from 6-13

I never said anything about wanting crawford specifically..just providing an example of a 33, soon to be 34 yr old and only 6'4 scoring guard off the bench who doesnt necessarily jump out of the gym helping a contender..knockin down huge shots when the core guy may not have their A games..etc.

So only essesntial and a few others see that.

At a reasonable and fair deal, and based on what ive seen THIS YR, I dont see the risk at having him as a scoring wing off the bench or spot starts if we become contenders anywhere between his age 29-32 seasons.

i hear ya...but do you consider him an all time great?

Kobe is 42 from passing Nash...numbers can be skewed but percentages also speak truth

In today's NBA, you need someone who can go for 20 on any given night off the bench if you want to win a title.

Does not mean they will score 20 nightly, but that threat is there.

I was thinking was it possible to have 2 Kobes on the same team with Gerald Green. Mitch foreseen that it wouldn't work so he got Bynum.

I hope he feels the same way about Melo and pass on him...

unless you have 3 superstars where each can carry the team while the others are on the bench/taking games off due to knee issues 8o

Green was terrible in pre-season when he was in camp.

But of course, he played well with the Nets later that season, then earned a $10 million contract from the Pacers that summer.

I'm surprised he didn't make the squad at least as a 12th man...
at that time, the team was rostering metta, barnes, walton and devin ebanks...they considered it but it meant sending andrew goudelock or darius morris to the d-league. brooklyn eventually called him up

Let's see who becomes the Gerald Green in this years draft. I guy who everyone hypes about then becomes a bust...

Having Bron, Bosh & Wade gets you to the finals.. Bench scoring still separated them from the West team.

Just like Mavs bench separated them from the Heat.

Hakeem the Dream was the only superstar on his team so how did he win it all that one year? 11 role players and 1 superstar. Cassell though was not an All Star, he was a rook.

“Swag Mamba? Nah. Nah. I’m Swaggy P, baby,” Young said upon hearing the suggestion. “Can’t be no Mamba. I don’t want to be a snake. I like the flash of the jewelry. I’m a flashy man. Look at my backpack, baby.”

:rollin

Also Ryan Kelly's nickname at Duke was "The White Raven"

So we have The Black Mamba, The Black Swan, Swaggy P & The White Raven

Swaggy P & The White Raven sounds like a great Band.

The Pelicans don't own their second rounder until 2018. :{

Need to try and get a late first for Pau. Definitely won't be a lottery pick, but have to use Pau to try and help a playoff team or a team trying to make the playoffs.
