The NBA needs to scrap the Slam Dunk competition and All-Star Saturday altogether. !%$+ has been mad wack since Vince tore the house down nearly 10 years ago. No one wants to see a 7-footer in a lame cape throw the ball into the hoop in a SLAM dunk contest or a ****** miss 25 attempts before completing 1 mediocre dunk.
The only way the upcoming or any future Slam Dunk competitions would be worth watching is if the NBA pressures/forces the best and baddest high flyers to participate in the event. If Stern forced guys like LeBron, Griffin, etc to participate it would be fun watching...but I dont think people care about watching guys like Shannon Brown, DeRozan, Fernandez, G. Wallace, etc in this event.
