We can trade for his rights, which is why I floated the idea of Landry + fillers for Wilson's rights? I think I'd say yes to that.
So let's say we get Wil's rights, and let's assume he's on a prorated deal until the end of the year, what kind of deal can he get for next season? Once the season ended couldn't we extend him and go over the cap cause we have his bird rights?

Wilson doesn't make us that better anyway if we're giving up Fields for him. I don't like the idea of trading with DEN again for a player we already traded to them anyway. Plus that whole idea would only works if Wilson wants to come back here for cheap since after being bought out he could sign elsewhere or back with DEN for more money.
All the guys we had that we sent away last year aren't that good that we should be trading to get them back a season later. There are players just as good and more that are better than them that we could go for. Yall need to chill with just getting something we're familiar with. Our current team is changing and so will it's offensive style and it's not like players on the roster last season are just gonna fit back in.

The only year Melo can possibly win MVP is this year. Due to our lack of a PG and him being the point forward (for atleast a month) if he can avg 25-8-5 and we're like 20 and 5 going forward then yes. If its not this year, I dont see it ever happening.
