i agree wit u they should feature stat in the beginning of 4th an let melo finish

I disagree there should be no "feauturing"Both guys are 100m men. Both are offennsive specialists. Dantoni is an "offensive specialist." He needs to find a way to integrate both cuz isoing Melo won't work better in a 7 game series against the heat or any team with great defense than having both stars get buckets. And I don't like how Amare and Melo aren't 1a and 1b. It's obvious that Melo is more talented and more clutch, but Amare was capable of carrying a team in the 4th and the clutch before the Melo trade. There's no reason we can't have 2 weapons for closing games, it's not like Melo's presence diminishes stats taletnts.Amare needs to stop deferring to Melo and D'antoni needs to stop letting it happen by creating offensive schemes for it to work and just straight up telling Stat to stop being a #*%!% and command the ball too because he is an offensive superstar.

BTW it's stupid as +$!* to keep Amare in if we are up 6 with about a minute to play. He's a straight up liability. Harrelson should get in at that point. But we all know dantoni is a batty boy who wouldnt step up and do that for the good of the team.

amare played better offensively which is good to see.

shump shump is great

Ima be in the building for the Orlando game. Im a laker fan but ima bring it back to 99 and wear the starter Ewing authentic since me n him share the same first name

Ugly win towards the end of the game.
Shump shooting all those 3s at the end annoyed me. He is more of a mid range shooter at the moment. Amare got no plays ran through him in the final minutes at ALL

I don't know what the game plan is, but Melo on ISO is not working especially when he gets doubled. He drives the baseline and gets cut off etc.
We had a pretty good lead in the 4th and Philly definitely wasn't going to lay down. I respect that. But Ill be damned if they win the Atlantic division like that idiot Wilbon said earlier tonight.

The pieces aren't fully in place but I can see em starting to come together at least. Tweaks here and there should really make us solid as far as I can see.

great win. happy my prediction was wrong. nice to see dantoni sort of making some adjustments defensively and not being too stubborn.

We are Baron and a legit bench scorer away from being a legit threat in the East. Baron is a vet he will put a stop to that Melo iso every possession in the 4th crap .

well, they're at least figuring out how they need to win games. It's going to be done by getting stops and just grinding things out. at least with the current personnel.

they beat the teams they should beat. Tonight was a little more of a test, but still..you're at home. It's a good win.

Going to find out a little bit more with the next set of games.

.....considering it was the 3rd game in 3 nights for the 76ers they just looked out of gas in the 4th, the 79 points they scored? Doesn't hold much weight.

What they did during that 4th quarter yesterday with the careless turnovers and i mean CARELESS), one on one basketball, and shooting with 4 seconds passing on the shot clock......I don't consider that knowing how to win a game, they tried their hardest to lose yesterday and the 76ers couldn't even make any wide open shot in the 4th cause they were exhausted.

Glad they have the win but at the same time, during the most important part of the game, they were heading for a free fall and dodged a bullet.

Our 4th quarter offense is an absolute joke. Melo has to stop trying to do it himself. The other 3 players on the floor excluding chandler need to gain confidence and do their part too, Stop passing the ball to melo and standing there watching him. We played Exceptional for 3 quarters last night, I'm very happy for that. HOWEVER our 4th quarters and blowing leads negates all the positives. Hopefully we can get this W aganist memphis and keep the streak going. STILL NEED TO FIRE PRINGLES THOUGH.

The reason the sixers will win the division is because they beat the teams they are supposed to. They wont lose games to the raptors or the bobcats. Knicks have more talent, sure, but if they keep losing to the crap of the NBA, it wont matter

I agree. I saw the fatigue in Philly. And I saw the all-out nose dive we did.

But I also feel like they've had the advantage of basically having the same group as last year and I think that is a big reason for their early success. As we, are still trying to gain chemistry, find a rotation and have guys recover from injuries.

I'm happy with the progress. Especially with an idiot like D'Antoni coaching.

Chandler and Shump defensively.

Look at the article I posted a few pages back... Fields is struggling in large part to the change in offensive structure. With Felton he was being assisted more often and put in easier scoring opportunities, now he's having to create a lot more and that's resulting in turnovers, lower shooting %, and bad play. Doesn't explain why his shot is awful, but he's clearly rattled and struggling to get into a comfortable zone.
There's also the 99% possibility that what we saw last year in the first half of the season was Fields' peak... which I kind of believed back then. I wasn't one of the fans thinking "how much better can he get", I thought.. this is who he is.

That excuse sucks. Teams are 6-1 on back to back to backs. The Sixers are the youngest team in the league not buying the tired excuse. They played the same way the whole game minus the first quarter. Sixers made their runs all throughout the game but our defense dare I say it neutralized them. "Tired" teams get blown out and they don't cut a 17 point lead in the 4th down to 4
