levis 501 shrink to fit question

Aye I got a question about these jeans I brought my original size and afraid to wash how do they shrink?

They don't shrink too much. Maybe a size the but then they stretch out. If you wash them they will fade like crazy if you want to shrink it without too much fading give them a bath in hot water.

haha i remember when i bought my STF 501's back in highschool.

i took a denim nerd's advice and sat in a bathtub of warm water for about 30-45 mins.

my 501's shrunk significantly and fit pretty good afterward, i don't wear them anymore tho.

The bath tub is a good idea. I have ruined a couple pairs by using the washing machine, they lose their color.

theyre only good a few washes before they lose their color or shrink...they shrink the first 3-4 times you wash it then stop...ooo yea and width is easier to stretch than length...





so plan on buying another pair

u better size up homie if u plan on washing them. the 36 waist shrinks to about a 33
