Go volunteer or join an organization or something that captures your interest. Or maybe you can get a teamwork-heavy job that will expose you to new friends? Meeting people here is not hard at all, Im saying this from my perspective as a more reserved person.

If you go to sjsu (since you're in sj) for your masters, there are lots of chill people there for new friends from a class setting.

Most importantly, if you're not happy by yourself, you won't be happy in a relationship. True happiness can only be found from yourself.
