wow never realized how insane releases were in 2001! I wish i wasnt 11 back then.

I remember the weekend in 01 all those lowtop 11's dropped....I woke up like 20 minutes late than I had set my alarm for and because of that I was runningthrough the mall trying to get to any store that had a 14....I wanted the both the Carolina Blue/White and Red/White ones so bad...but I was short like 40bucks (I hadn't sold enough bootleg cd's the week before...I was one of the only kids at my HS with enough sense to use my cd burner as a money makingtool lol) so I ended up only copping the Red/White joints...everything was all good until the next week someone broke into my locker while I was in basketballclass and got me....I was so hot...after I spent an hour or so looking for them I just went home for the rest of the day...let me tell you that was longest busride home ever...I guess whoever got me must have sold them or something cause they never showed, I never saw anyone wearing them or anything....
