They were SO over in NXT. They had the story with Jordan being a reluctant partner and Gable being goofy and eventually winning him over. They were the perfect team for each other.
It's amazing how terribly booked they were on the main roster. 0 in ring promo time, 0 character introduction, dominated everyone right away then got taken out by an "injury" angle, disappeared for weeks, I think even a month as tag team champs, had a really short reign, then both just barely appeared on TV at all after, then they broke up.
How can you take a team that young, charismatic, and good and make the main roster crowd not care about them at all?

Good hard hitting action. This was another example of Inoki ruining NJPW. Bringing in these untrained pro wrestlers to make the product seem more legit. Even by the way he was selling, you could tell Zangiev wasn't training in pro wrestling. There were some shots here that really stood out though.
