Marketing Project

I'm doing a marketing project for DECA where i have to come up with a proposal for a fictious buisness, and i decided to do a sneaker buisness and wouldlike some of the shop owners on here to if they can answer some questions so i can get a better grasp on the buisness side of the project, the questions are:

1)How did you decided which brands to sell?

2)How did you acquire the licensces to sell these brands?

3)How did you come up with a projected sales for your first year of buisness?

4)Why did you choose the location that you did?

5)What aspects of your shop make it unique to that of other shops?



thats all i can think of for right now, any help would be appreciated, thanks for your time

^^^I can't help you with your marketing research, but I'm just here to say at the State Level go with a PowerPoint but at Nationals go with aposterboard. I learned from my mistakes, trust me I went to nationals twice and at state made finales in every event I was in all 4 years I was in DECA, alongwith being a state officer my final year. When giving your presentation don't go into details about every stat you found instead stick with the main idea,sell them (judges) on the idea and not on the facts.
