i cringed when i paid retail for these when they first released which led me to returning them

OMG I hate seeing these shoes. The whole IV release was so botched when it was retroed in 2006. EVERY Single GR release had TERRIBLE leather. The Toe Boxes look destroyed in 1 wear. The start of JBs low quality retros

Made the mistake of getting 4 pairs back in 06. Poor Quality, Uncomfortable, and they squeak. I thought one pair was defective but the second pair I rocked, they squeaked too. The squeak to just like the Caroline 5's but when you put baby powder in the IV's to stop the squeak, that does not work.
