one of the folks on CNN earlier said they were at the reunification center at Sandy Hook and there wasn’t a lot of info out yet for parents, and slowly kids started meeting and leaving with their parents and the parents left behind started to realize their child wasn’t coming

It's way past time we address the myths that are used as the foundation of all right-wing policy, in all aspects of our society.
The BS about more guns = more safety can only persist as long as the talking heads are not taking these right-wing clowns head on about the veracity of their claims, lest they/their outlets lose access. The idea that more guns lead to safer communities has never been true in the history of America, unless you've learned history through western movies.

From 4 years agoThe only thing that's changed over the past two decades is that we used to spend 2 months talking about a mass shooting. Then it became 2 weeks. Now it'll be 2 days.
