Yeah HP is literally one of the nicest most affluent places Ive ever been. Obviously as we see today its not exempt to having a mass shooting but I never would have imagined something like that happening there man. This hits close to home for me for sure

assuming youre from waukegan i was coming home to aurora from there after this happened and saw 11 cops on my drive, first thing i did was search active shooter on twitter because the same thing happened during the aurora shooting a few years ago

I’m real uncomfortable going anywhere in public with large crowds now because of these shootings.

I know it’s unlikely, but it really can happen anywhere. It’s hard not to have it in the back of my head.

Only place I feel safe is at sporting events, probably because of the security presence and safety measures.

Good. They haven’t caught the shooter and he still has time to do the same thing but under the cover of darkness and sounds of louder fireworks. Scary thought.
