There's not much we can do besides accept the fact that mass shootings are simply a part of American life. The chance to nip this in the bud should have taken place decades ago. Instead we've done things to make it worse. That's on our leaders and the American people.

I realize it isn't technically true nothing can be done, but with our elected officials, I ain't hopeful for anything significant. I suppose any progress in the right direction is better than none though.
