arthur definitely will contribute. its alot better having him backing up randolph than carroll who is still a rookie. next year, memphisfrontcourt depth will be great.

arthur will have more of an establish role this year as a role player rather than being inserted into the starting lineup. he's asked to have a motor,rebound and block shots. he will fill that role very well once he's back.

DA looked like a deer in headlights at times last season, but he should be more comfortable this season as a back up. If he can just give the team 10 minutesof defense and rebounding that would go a long way. Any offensive output would be icing on the cake.

Von Wafer is getting some stuff cleared with the US Govt. before he can be offered contracts by NBA teams. Memphis also needs a backup PF with Arthur out. Iwould like to see Hunter get those minutes instead of Carroll at the four.

A bench with Tinsley, Wafer, Young, Hunter, Thabeet could be a small improvement. Jaric taking up so much damn money right now, Memphis could throw that moneyand a pick at a team like Golden State to bring in one of their scorers.

Conley is solidfying himself that starting PG spot. Our starters are great, but if we don't bring in a a few bench players the team won't sniff theplayoffs due to the starters getting tired thru an 82 game season. That's what makes teams like Sacramento, OKC and LAC have longevity because they have anice group off the bench.

About Conley...The fact that he's coming along NOW is what makes it good. He always wait until March to start playing good basketball and now I thinkhe's finally turned the corner. If you have time, I think you should pick him up after a few more games to see if he's for real. He's not going tobe the PG that's going to give you 7+ assists a night because Memphis doesn't need that out of him. He's good for 15 and 5 though easily.
