Laurel is just obnoxious. Also, true story: I've been watching The Challenge for two decades...never once watched a reunion episode. I would watch the outtakes episode, but that's it.

The reunions used to be good back in the day. They’d show all the awkward hook-ups, people who fought during the show still wouldn’t have talked to each other because the internet wasn’t really in full swing, it was one hour long so they trimmed all the fat and kept it moving.

Now it’s just people talking about tweets they made… 3/4 of said tweets were probably only posted to try and get them more screen time.

Season 40 cast is stacked. I forgot all about Abram calling Bananas John during the earlier seasons he was on

If it is Eras, Eras 1 men are stacked but Eras 2 women could be the ex factor in the distance challenges. They’re all stupid fit still.

To be fair, he was cast as just "John" the first couple seasons. If he's introduced as John, he'll call him that. He didn't really become Johnny until awhile in.

Edit: and CT was still "Chris" on Inferno. Wasn't until Inferno 2 he became CT.

Okay, so we know the Season 40 cast. It's a lot of legends. Does Miz come in for something? I feel like this season is his opportunity. When All-Stars launched, Miz said he was too busy, but wanted to do it.

Was watching the last season this month and just finished it yesterday. Haven't seen the reunion yet but will maybe this weekend.

Was actually the first season of The Challenge I've watched in a few years so was kind of interesting seeing the new format without a lot of OG's and past champions as competitors so I didn't know most of the cast . Always cool seeing TJ though.

Wasn't a fan of Emmanuel ending up winning because I don't think he was as deserving or worthy as someone like Nurys since he rode coattails the whole way but at least it wasn't Jay or Michelle

They were unbearable most of the time trying to scheme and control the game and thinking they were a lot better than they actually are. That said, they're still much better competitors than the biggest **** boy and stooge of the season in Asaf

Was so happy seeing CT the sending his smug *** back home before the final

Not a fan of these pre-made alliances happening where people organize themselves before even setting foot on the location though. It kind of puts the real game on hold/hostage mode with everyone too scared to rock the pre-made boats.

Even though I hadn't kept up in a while, I've seen the cast for season 40
In Vietnam and I'm definitely gonna watch . Lot of Challenge OG's and fan favs coming back along with a lot of these newer guys, the battle of the eras format has a lot of potential.

Plus there's zero chance that people like Melissa and Jay have any shot at running anything in a house with all these legends

Amazing. Only thing I wish is if Kenny and Landon were in, but Kenny will never happen. This is the closest thing to the best cast you can have.

I'd like to see the JEK alliance one last time but we know it aint happening.

It would also be hilarious to see them against TYB (team youngbucks) but also know that Nelson isn't likely to return with his issues and amputation.

I'm guessing once Nelson is far enough along in his rehab and adjusting to the prosthetic, he'll make a cameo appearance. TJ really likes him. I know prosthetic tech has come a long way, but I just don't see him competing in a full season again.

I’ve wondered if he will make an appearance or not… Theo never made an appearance again after losing an eye, though. So that made me think Nelson might not make it on again either.

I 1000% understand why neither of them have come back after what happened the last time they were on the show but I’d love for Sarah and Hunter to pop up. Sarah was one of my all/time fave female challenger cause she was nerdy, smart, and thrived at puzzle/trivia events. She definitely felt more like a real genuine person competing and less like a person playing a character

There are multiple threads on the Challenge subreddit. He was really abusive towards female cast members, and it all kinda got swept under the rug for awhile.
