I usually roll with Tabasco (the Costco size bottle; lasts for months) but also like Cholula (funky bottle), Mama Sita's Labuyo hot sauce from the Philippines...

Louisana hot sauce, IMO, is just for wings. Frank's is a little bit more versatile, a must have on omelettes, bacon, etc. when Tabasco is not around.

Being in Toronto I also roll with Grace brand & Mr. Goudas hot sauce, not bad for $0.80 a bottle. Quite a kick to those (with Scotch bonnet peppers), a few drops will do it.

Sriracha sauce is a must for when having pho and Chinese food.

In my kitchen my pecking order of hot sauces goes like this :
Sriracha > Crystal > Frank's Red Hot > Cholula > Tabasco

I honestly don't even know why I have Tabasco anymore, other than needing it for certain recipes. It tastes like watered down devil's saliva and has no appeal to my taste palette at all.

Crystal hot sauce >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Tabasco of any variety.

Does anyone else have a Sakura in their mall? That's what first turned me onto Sriracha and I haven't looked back since.
