alright fine its a civil injustice but don't try to compare to the civil rights movement like they had dogs sicked on them, or their churches were being bombed
were their great grandparents hung from trees and lit on fire? do they have problems getting hired because they are gay?

Explain? Gays have never been barred from voting or from being allowed to be at certain places because of their orientation or even from being allowed to be free.
Like I said,they're both wrong. No one should be barred from common rights because of religion,race or orientation.

i do think this is a legitimate discussion, so whoever's backlashin OP obviously has an issue with not taking offense to opinions....
either way, OP i do agree, though they are on the same side of the spectrum, civil rights was/is a more direct form of injustice

I have no problem with gay people and don't want to "punish" them. Stop jumping to conclusions.
And of course I'm talking about during African Americans' struggle for civil rights. What else would I be talking about since the GLT community is currently "struggling" for their civil rights. They are comparing their struggle to ours (African Americans) and they aren't the same.
