NBA Draft Thread 2011

Irving is good but he is made out to be the second coming of christ. Not sure there is much that seperates him and Knight.

Kyrie Irving:
Irving rewards father’s perseverance

Drederick Irving looks forward to celebrating Father’s Day this year over dinner with his three children. His big gift, however, might not arrive until four days later when his son, Kyrie, could be the No. 1 overall pick in the NBA draft in Newark, N.J., a short drive from his house.

While the draft promises to be memorable for the Irvings, Kyrie doesn’t believe it will be thanks enough for his father, who raised him alone after Kyrie’s mother died when he was 4.

@DraftExpress Minnesota continues to explore trade opportunities for the #20 pick. They won't outright sell it. Still looking for a "veteran big man."
@DraftExpress http://sbn.to/m4D9H6The Dwight Howard sweepstakes have begun. Golden State offered Monta Ellis, Andris Biedrins and Ekpe Udoh. Unlikely that'll get it done.
@DraftExpress The Knicks are hoping Biyombo drops to them at 17. That's unlikely, so they're exploring moving up. May have to jump ahead of Warriors at 11

me too, but i dont think i saw marcus williams play as a freshman. other than his passin ability kendall marshall is below average to me. & i dont see how u can compare him to jason kidd, jason kidd was a hell of an athlete when he was young before them knee injuries. kendall marshall is slow as dirt

It should be noted the Warriors have taken three PFs in the last four years with their lottery picks (Wright, Randolph and Udoh).
