Toronto flip-flops too often and the Sixers are good but they play below their talent level and lack depth. Bucks are solid and they can compete with anyone. Agree to disagree.

Sixers-Warriors is a very interesting matchup to me. Both teams like to run in transition, both have multiple guys that can run the break, both teams are near the top of the league in assists, and both have all star play makers that can’t shoot.

Sixers at their apex make life difficult for the dubs. If Embiid puts the chick fil a aside for two weeks and actually shows up, the dubs have a major headache. Offensively there’s no one who can guard him one on one without fouling him so foul trouble is a real threat. Embiid was 10/12 from the line in his only game against the dubs this year and as a team we were 19/24. Free throw battle would be pivotal. If the double comes Embiid has to be smart enough to find the open man. If it’s Ben, he needs to go hard to the basket and make the warriors make a play on the ball OR Ben has to anticipate they’re going to leave him and set a pick to get someone else open quick enough for a shot.

Defensively there’s no one to stretch Embiid away from the paint so attacking the rim is an issue as well. Putting Embiid in the high PnR with dray and curry is an issue. Butler would just have to fight over that as Embiid stays home and you take your chances.

We would have a major advantage on the glass as well.

I have questions about our ability to collectively show up consistency but if we could manage the turnovers, get to the line consistently, and dominate the glass it would be a fun series.

I say all that still not expecting to win that series and wouldn’t have a problem seeing the Bucks matchup against them either. I’m honestly happy to just get this game 7 on Sunday.

Thats completely ignoring context. What was it? 5 points combined in the last 6 minutes of game 5 and 6?

Superstars do more. Period.
I didn't make any excuses for him. My posts in here are pretty damning. I'm just listing numbers. Even said we needed him to be better than that. The fact that he needs to be better than that for this team tells how you how good GS is. Same case with Bron in his finals appearances vs. them.

Paint that picture how you want to. It is what it is.

James averaged 34-7-6-2 on 59% TS with only 4 turnovers a game with a 35% usage rate and we still needed/expected him to be BETTER than that. Should just demand a trade man. ****
Not hardens fault in total.
The rockets pissed away 2 games @GSW. They lost control of the fundamentals...boxing out especially. And that James Harden iso offense with no movement killed. Cp3 basically was schematically removed from the offense. Eric Gordon should have been featured more. There were alot allotimes where he was the best, most consistent player on the court. I just don't understand why the rockets would castrate themselves as a team schematically. Smh.

I will say that there were times when harden was asleep on defense.

Final thoughts:

Last year's team was special. I really think and still do believe they would've won if CP3 didn't get hurt. This year's team didn't have it. It was apparent throughout the regular season. Even if we beat GS, we probably lose to the Bucks in the finals. I think we'd beat Toronto and Philly in 6 or 7 personally. Either way, this wasn't the true finals in my eyes so this loss really didn't hurt as much as last year, but it was still painful and embarrassing. Warriors really some true champions. **** em and I thought they were some ***** *** ****, and still do, but they really deserved to win. We're a great team but they're the Warriors. One of the GOAT teams.

People will say we got out-talented and all that, which is true, but no excuses. This team said it was rings or bust and #RunItBack so that's the standard we need to hold them to. They folded like cheap tents and deserve all the criticism this year. They've competed against GS better than anyone else in the KD era but moral victories are pointless when you're sitting on the couch.

Team needs a roster overhaul, coaching change, and tweaks to the philosophy. Seems bleak in all honesty so it's hard to be enthusiastic. Got a bunch of other upcoming teams you have to contend with, even if the Warriors dismantle. I don't know where they go from here. All I know is we're basically the 2000's era Sacramento Kings. We stunk up the joint and they probably aren't worth my time anymore. Stockholm syndrome and lying though >>>>>>

Also s/o PJ. Harden too. He came up short (again) but he deserves better from this team. He legit had to average 40-8-8 on 60%+ TS for us to win. That one poster was right. Regular season James wasn't enough. Man got cancer Dwight and one year of prime CP3. It's an evil world we live in
