Last thoughts on last night's game:

I'll give the Warriors credit for fighting through the first half of Steph Curry playing like garbage and of course direct being out but I think game 6 had more to do with Houston playing poorly then the Warriors playing well.

The Rockets had so many opportunities to pull away in that game. I felt like they had a four to six point lead for a lot of the game and had multiple opportunities to take that lead into the double digits but they either took a horrendous shot or turn the ball over the next possession.

Also, I don't want to hear anything from Rockets fan about how they want a piece of the Warriors. Are we heard about for a year was that they wanted another shot and that they could beat the Warriors if there were 100%, then he proceeded to wet the bed in game 5 and 6 without Durant.

I don't care about Harden averaging 40 points a game in January, show me in May.

James Harden will turn 30 this summer. He's right in the middle of his prime.

He's incredibly durable and a walking 50+ wins by himself (something he doesn't get enough credit for. You can count on one hand the amount of players in the league who can guarantee you 50+ wins every season)

For those reasons alone, the rockets are as "fine" as you can be given the era that they exist in. If KD leaves, or if they strike gold on a buy low guy in the summer or at some point during the season next year, things could break their way.

He's not a perfect player, but I think he was really good against Golden State, he just wasn't perfect and unfortunately for them, GSW forces you to be at a near perfect level for an entire 7 game series. There are areas that he has to improve on as well, but Harden by himself is an entire ecosystem that puts you in the mix every year, and that's valuable. I know ****** not trying to hear that though right now :lol slander is warranted.

It’s all valid and true. I myself just need to chill on comparing harden to the other greats though until he can win more

But yeah, **** belongs in the other thread

now that substances have exited the system and i can gather my thoughts:

-klaydagawd aka game 6 klay :pimp:
-kerr turning to that 1-4 steph/dray PnR at the perfect time and houston had no idea what to do :pimp:
-kerr's defensive strategy the entire series that turned capela into swiss kwame brown with a bleached hair patch :pimp:
-EAGLE DOLLAR 5/8 from 3 #myfinalsmvp :pimp::pimp:
-shaun livingston pissin on father time's grave and lookin like dominique in a dunk contest :wow:
-warriors defense not letting houston role players go off at home :pimp:
-quinn cook vs austin rivers lookin like steph vs CP3 circa 2015
-steph burry aka "who needs a ****ing left hand" redeeming himself...not enough superlatives to describe that man's second half:pimp::pimp:
-and warriors winning a game on the strength of the OGs: steph, dray, klay, bogut, iggy, shaun #realOLDcore :pimp:

Eloquently put my g. :nthat:

And Houston lost the last two games because expectations changed once KD went down. I don't give a damn about series prices or ESPN "expert" picks, the moment KD went down, Houston was expected to win the series. Players can say what they want externally, but internally, it wasn't until that moment that the Rockets players' expectations changed from "we can win" to "we're supposed to win."

And then they **** the bed. Pressure, pipes.

**** the Rockets.
