Kyrie is a great second fiddle.

Dame is a number 1 option.

Kyrie is one of the most exciting players I’ve seen in my entire life. He’s elite, all of that but he also misses a ton of games and can’t lead a team at all.

At this juncture give me Dame. He’s accomplished so much more with 10 times less.

Your memories are foggy. Second fiddle? Kyrie was evey bit as vital to that championship as LeBron was. Kyrie is a killer in the postseason. I wouldn’t bet against Boston beating Milwaukee.

jesus christ

Journalists and media members striking back

Touché but this is also lame.

They’re gonna keep asking him stupid questions and being butt hurt about not getting responses.

He is obligated to hear their questions, he’s not obligated to answer.

Popovich RARELY gets this type of bogus criticism when he pulls this same song and dance with the media.

I’m not totally blaming Presti for lack of shooting when Russ never improved as a shooter himself. It starts at the top

Your memories are foggy. Second fiddle? .
I read the first line of this reply and thought you were trying to deny asking Duke30 for a job.

I almost lost it

No matter how you want to slice it up, Lebron was 1, Kyrie was 2. Period.

This all starts and ends with Westbrook.

Gotta blame your "star" player(s). The role players been showing up.

Westbrook with 1 point in the second half. Brick a FT. Yikes. Overlooked note, no heroics from Ferguson this time. Dude was a disaster, and looked every bit of the 5ppg player he is on average.

What a difference a year makes. Last year Portland was getting embarrassed by New Orleans and Dame was terrible...OKC is just the remedy for everyone

I need to see Presti's version of this

Presti’s get out of jail free card is always going to be that Clay Bennett refused to pay the few million extra it would have cost to keep Harden.

He’s obviously content being part of a middle of the pack franchise because most other gm’s would have seen that as an owner undoing good work, and resigned only to resurface elsewhere soon thereafter.

Right, but he was overachieving. For someone to look at his playoff performance and be let down and come to the conclusion that he's now a third option seems like a result of this
Most people including me thought it wasn't overachieving but a natural continuation of his career before it got derailed by the injury. I still think he's capable of being an elite dual threat, the playoff trend is really discouraging though

Steph has absolutely nothing to do with this Dame vs Kyrie discussion.

Dame graduated from the underrated category...

Dame has more to prove for sure but you’re referencing events that Dame hasn’t had the opportunity to perform in yet.

If dame and Kyrie switched spots in Cleveland while Bron was there I don’t think too many people would bet against Dame putting together a comparable performance to Kyrie in similar circumstances.

You’d seriously take Kyrie over Dame at this point after watching Kyrie torpedo Boston?

Like all things considered- injuries, performance, remaining potential, Kyrie over Dame? I don’t know about that one chief. I’m riding with Dame.
Boston really looking torpedoed

Kyrie and Dame are #SameTier. No way you can say one guy is a #1 and the other isn't.

Dame is on a way higher level than kyrie, dude has been balling out in the west for years now and is at worst 2nd team all nba

I get off the plane and see Russ stat line and a thunder L :rollin

Kyrie was jussstt slightly better than Dame this season *ducks*

I mean as a leader you could say Dame, but Kyrie was the more efficient scorer, better playmaker, higher PER, BPM, better in the clutch this season,

I'm not going to argue if someone says Dame though. It's close and they're in the same tier.
