That would have been coming if he had the minutes. Can't complain though because they're 5th/4th in the conference but numbers prove when he gets theminutes he puts up numbers.

Whats the reason for him sitting like he did?

^^ the coach says defense.... bealsey had a hard time guarding bigger dudes in the paint and rookie calls didnt help....

"they" say it's defense. While I don't disagree...I've never seen a coach limit his own team's potential by sittingit's second best player for his defensive deficiencies. I've got good reason to believe it's Riley's influence trying to humble him and make apoint to him.

He plays 24 minutes and averages 13 & 5. In comparison:

Derrick Rose averages 16 in 36 minutes/game
Russell Westbrook averages 16 in 32 minutes/game
OJ Mayo averages 19 in 38 minutes/game
Brook Lopez averages 13 in 30 minutes/game
Eric Gordon averages 15 in 33 minutes/game

Man go sit your $%* in a corner somewhere

I like Rose (obviously), but for every point he gets he gives up 2. He is worse than BG on defense.

It's definitely Riles, for sure.

And on Brook, he would average more if he got more touches. It seems like Devin doesn't even look for him. But I guess he is a rook...

I think it's very debatable given the following:
1) numbers are pretty similar
2) Westbrook's the clearly better defender and has a chance to be a lockdown guy
3) Westbrook's improvements already (relatively very new to pg position)
4) Rose's poor court vision (which I think is more innate than anything)

However, there's one huge argument in favor of Rose.. he's got all of the pressure on him as the #1 pick and hometown boy, whereas Westbrook has nopressure on a team expected to go nowhere..
And because of that, I'm sure Rose already has the ROY in the bag.. Anyways, I'm talking about the future..

How many bulls games have you watched this yr because, you really sound like a damn fool G. Seriously.

Tough to say between Rose and Westbrook.

Two different styles of play IMO

Rose is very calm in nature, very similar to how he can control a game. Does a great job of knowing when to attack and when to pass.

Westbrook is energetic and can play out of control at times.

Westbrook doesn't have the "true" pg skills that Rose has but he makes up for it in other parts of his game such as rebounding and defense.

You have to keep in mind that Westbrook hasn't played the point much in his basketball career which makes what he has been doing that much more special.

Rose has been playing around the level many thought he would before the season.

On the other hand, lots of people thought Westbrook would be crap.
