I own both 360 and PS3. Plan on getting both XB1 and PS4. But you have to be blind or completely biased to be impressed by the XB1 reveal. The only thing they did better than PS4 was reveal the system. And quite frankly, the PS4 could look like a shoe box with a sheet of paper glued to it labeled 'PS4', as long as it does what it says it's going to do.

The Xbox One reveal was terrible if you're getting it as a gaming console. I understand that stuff might of been cool to shareholders and average tech people, but that conference was promoted heavily by gaming publications. The majority of the people who tuned in to the live broadcast are people who intend to use it for games.
It was weak in that aspect. I won't lie though. I have a bias towards Sony because I've been down with them for like 15 years playing their home consoles. I did buy a 360 though and had every intention of getting both Sony and Microsoft's next offerings too. (Sorry Nintendo, but your last few systems have been wack.)

Does anybody else feel that the 360 and ps3 never really push the full potential in both respective hardwares

exactly. and thats why these system probably will fail. they never let the developers catch up..especially the ps3...graphics on that joint was weak. but sony said they were talking and working with game developers heavy so they dont make that mistake again.we'll see.
