Maclin is back from injury and they'll probably take one of the top WR's in the draft. PHI already met with Mike Evans. Can't replace what DJax did, but will be a replacement at WR.

WRs are a dime a dozen. Look at average ones the Seahawks won with. Then had no problem letting Tate walk and leave. Not like D-Jax was on Calvin's level. They could just find a speedy WR in the draft

Look at the defense Seattle has. They were up 29-0 on Denver before one of their average WRs caught a touchdown.

well as was mentioned above maclin is back.. and then we acquired sproles
ertz played considerably better the 2nd half of the season.. ditto kkkooper.. casey was hardly used (only had 3 catches)
and hopefully a rookie can come in and get something like 30-40 receptions and 400-500 yards

The Eagles don't need a DJax clone; you get a receiver like Evans and he's a lot Desean couldn't do

Not relevant. Point is major investments to have 2+ star WRs isn't the best way to allocate funds if you want to be a winner. If I'm the 49ers I need a cornerback way more than it need DJax for 10+mill.
Also, sidebar: Baldwin and Kearse and Tate are nice players and if you actually watched the season you'd realize they made plenty of plays that won games, including for example the 4th down TD against your 9ers. You'd think some people in here only watched the Super Bowl all season.

if the eagles come out with ertz and celek at TE.. and casey lined up as a H-back/FB.. mccoy at TB.. and 1 of maclin, cooper or sproles out wide..
what defense is the opposing team going to use?
if they go nickel, we run out of a power formation.. if they go with a base, all of of those guys are receiving threats
OR what if the eagles line up mccoy and sproles in the back field.. 2 TEs.. and 1 wr?
or what if the eagles go 2 WRs.. 2 TEs.. and mccoy in the backfield

More 8 man fronts. The Broncos were able to have success by putting DRC on DeSean, and putting more focus on everyone else.
On the other hand I think Chip knows this and will have a plan.

The opposing team would line up in a base formation vs all of those formations and would not be afraid to commit an extra safety vs the run or in underneath coverage because there is no one who would blow the top off and open up everything underneath
I have no doubt's about Chip's ability to make an offense work, but I don't see a plug and play guy replacing DJ
