How do you know though?
More 8 man fronts. The Broncos were able to have success by putting DRC on DeSean, and putting more focus on everyone else.
On the other hand I think Chip knows this and will have a plan.

certain guys just took desean completely out of the game.. look at the saints game

Certain times he was decoy and sometimes he got shutdown.

But that game was on Foles he had open and didn't want to throw the ball.
:{

If it makes you feel better, Knowshon Moreno left us for a couple days and still signed.

D-Jax could just be talkin things over with fam and agents, what not.

Yea...D-Jax leaving doesn't mean a lot. His agent being in town is what is going to seal the deal or not. I know things can be faxed etc., but him being in Ashburn must mean that Jackson/Skins are going to try to hammer something out before the end of the night.

I think the deal gets done.

Off subject, will Shady's numbers take a hit w/o having the threat of Jackson? Another thing...with the loss of Jackson, I'm curious to see how Foles develops this year. His absence is leaves a HUGE hole in the offense. Which is what I was saying earlier. Chip obviously views his system > the player. We'll see what happens w/ the Eagles this year.

Deep WR class, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Chip simply takes Josh Huff later in the draft and rolls with that.
i could honestly see us taking 2 WRs in this draft.. since the only maclin and cooper are guaranteed roster spots.. prob brad smith too, since he plays special teams

but i look at it like this, option wise in the draft:

1st round: evans or cook

2nd or 3rd: robinson, adams, matthews, richardson, moncrief and bryant

4th or later: latimer, ellington, huff, davis, abbrederis, coleman, archer, janis and hoffman

even if they pass up a WR in the 1st round; there will be potential star WR's in the 2nd, you just gotta pick the right one

Well then maybe that's the direction the team wants to go. Who are the best WR in the game? Calvin, Dez, and Julio? Where have they taken their team?

I agree this fact has to be acknowledged.

Plus I think that if you get a few good, not necessarily great recievers, they'll make plays for you if you have a good offense. See the Ravens SB run. I actually think the 49ers have a championship core at the position right now, even with no speed.

myself and @LakeLewis both told #DJaxInDC might be staying in town til maybe Thursday while things get worked out @wusa9 #******** #httr

DJax gonna get a glimpse of that Stadium life tonight :lol

I hate this just as much. It's a TEAM league. The better TEAM always wins. Russell Wilson was 9/18 for 103 yards against the Saints and they got the W. Why? The Seahawks were better.

Look at the last couple 'record setting offenses' in the Super Bowl -- they lost to superior, more complete teams.
And look at all the Super Bowl winners. All have top notch QBs. You're not plugging in Brian Hoyer on that Seahawks team and winning the Super Bowl. CMon now.

You cant deny the current rules are catered towards the QB. Yes, it's a team game but you're not going anywhere with Christian Ponder

Or they could take a look at one of these blue chip TEs

i think you are, though :lol

that seahawks team (defense) is unreal. and it's not taking anything away from russell...he makes them that much better. but that team could win with a lesser QB.

trent dilfer won a SB. remember that...a top QB certainly helps and more often than not is needed. but there are teams that can win without one.

EDIT: and NO...i am NOT comparing dilfer to wilson. hold your horses, russell fans :lol

Seahawks aren't even close to the #1 seed without Russell Wilson.

If he chases off D-Jax for poor hand signals in photos, and drafts a coke machine with no soda, that's a problem.

Can you imagine if Chip uses a pick on Lyerla? Oh boy...yes, there would be some backlash. And mounds of coke.

Ben has two rings, Eli has two rings, Flacco has a ring... these guys aren't considered 'top notch' to many people. Hell, how many Eli and Flacco jokes were there this season?

Don't rule out the Birds grabbing Lee

I'd love Allen Robinson in the 2nd; I watched that dude catch every damn true freshman bad pass from Hackenberg
