It's not a coincidence that when they released him all this stuff about gang connections leak out. They used that to justify getting rid of him.

There is no doubt he's gang affiliated to an extent. But so are MANY other guys in the league in EVERY locker room. As long as he's keeping himself out of trouble off the field, I couldn't care less about who he hangs with etc. He just needs to produce on Sundays.
Is he a top-10, WR? Probably not. Is he one of the best playmakers in the league? Absolutely. Skins now have a guy that defenses HAVE to respect. Garcon, Jordan Reed, and Morris will benefit from the attention that Jackson demands. His signing will hopefully have a ripple down effect on the offense. I'm really excited due to what he brings to the table.
Skins were 3-13 last year. Can't get much worse than that. THere was turmoil, drama, etc. What I'm hoping is that a healthy/brace-free RG3 makes the jump that you all hope frachise QBs do in their 3rd year. I EXPECT them to be no worse than .500 this year. Anything more is a bonus. In the NFCE, 8 wins gets you in the hunt for a division title...10 probably puts you over the top.

League sources said it was due to work ethic and attitude; the Eagles have said nothing about it being gang related

Irregardless of DeSean, how do instagram pictures not prove something? They're self-approved evidence that you're doing a particular activity or hanging out with a group of people and if those people/activities aren't the right kind then it could bite you in the ***.

i think it came down to the money he was making and the expectations the team had for someone they were paying that kind of money to (being a leader and all that jazz.. and a positive influence.. or at least buying into what the team/coaches were selling).. but he was reportedly showing up late to meetings and doing stuff in practice
and then 2 of the guys who desean reportedly did listen to on the team last season, are no longer with the eagles.. vick and avant
so it basically came to that tipping point of when does talent no longer outweigh the headache that comes along with it
