The NJ story coming out the day he gets released just reeks. Too coincidental.

I do think it was part of the reason they let him go but I don't think the Eagles had to leak anything, the media had already been speculating on DJax ever since he throw up hood in that game last year. TMZ, etc. were doing speculative articles on him during the season

I would never do that. They got their rings no doubt. I would never brag about championships I never saw. You have them but it's not the same as seeing them. My Knicks have been pretty much trash for 3/4s of my life. I don't even bring up their titles to anyone.

He's clearly throwing up a Crip sign in a handful of his pictures (Some with with members from that neighborhood). Regardless if he's an actual member or not, throwing up known gang signs isn't exactly the smartest thing to do if you're a professional athlete.

I agree that the media is horrible for dragging his name in the dirt, but when you give them the ammo they're going to shoot. We all know this.

I agree with Sherman's comments, but once again, if you're clearly throwing the hood up in multiple pics, you can't really get mad at people having assumptions about you being a part of that gang.

If Desean reeeeealy wanted dem statz on top of money, he would of went to New Orleans.

If he could do 1300 with foles, easy 1500 yards receiving with Brees especially with so much of the attention on jimmy. Could of built towards a larger extension.

I was just going off the reports of the Saints and Niners being interested. They probably couldn't match the price the Diplomats offered. But I'm sure they could of figured something out considering Jimmy's being franchised (I believe?)

Most teams offered DeSean a one year deal, that's including SF and NO. They said Oakland and WAS were the only teams to offer more than a one year deal but Oakland wasn't close to Washington's offer. 16 mil guaranteed is a good look for him.

I was just going off the reports of the Saints and Niners being interested. They probably couldn't match the price the Diplomats offered. But I'm sure they could of figured something out considering Jimmy's being franchised (I believe?)

He got transition tagged and is fighting it for higher pay. They'll settle on a extension eventually, so he'll get a raise, but obviously Idk how they'll configure it where it pertains to how much the cap hit is.

I have been thinking the same thing. We saw what happened last season when he had to resort to his arm more cause his speed wasnt there. But we will see. Also the skins O line isnt that good
