Well go me. Maybe with the union Jackson can't pursue himself but as I said it should be looked at, especially if the allegations are untrue

Adam Caplan just did an interview on 97.5 The Fanatic and said the Eagles found out the article was coming out last Wednesday and tried to trade him up until that Friday and that's when they decided they were going to cut him.
He also stated Desean has taken this as a wake up call and has vowed to work harder in training, etc.
Eagles have also shown interest in trading up for Evans and they love Cooks and rate his character a 10/10.

Good. Whole thing was some bunk. Gonna be some **** if it's found out that someone from the Eagles org. was the one who came up w/ the story.

My issue with the sherman's article is he say numerous times that he can't jump to conclusions on desean because of various reasons.. But then proceeds to do the same thing with the eagles when he has even less access to the organization

For the record, TMZ reported the Desean gang signs stuff well before that NJ.com article.
And believe me, don't speak for all Eagles fans. We aren't all defending the decision to cut Desean, the team handled the entire thing very badly and I lost a bit of respect for them.
If they felt they didn't want him for a work ethic reason then say so, don't let an article from another state entirely speak for you. And now that he's signed they DEFINITELY have no reason to give an explanation to anyone.
Just an all around circus of a short offseason for the Eagles, like it usually is smh. Cannot wait for the draft so there's something else to talk about regarding the team

I don't think it is though....fact is when the speculation was out there the ONLY player who vouched for him was Riley Cooper. Maclin wanted no parts or him, Andy probably tolerated the tantrums more but he even suspended Desean before. I wish we still had him bc he brings so much on the field but if a guy has no respect for coaches and doesn't buy in AND the team doesn't like him, I can see why he was cut. He seems like a guy who is easy to put up with when you are winning but if things start going south he slacks off (2011) and starts being a prima donna.
When we cut TO teammates came out and backed him, not here Desean is getting universally dismissed plus Vick and Avant are gone, the guys who could actually get through to him to a point...the gang ties thing never had anything to do with it, and if Washington don't win I wouldn't be shocked if he starts this again. There's a reason a top 15 talent lasted to the second round in his draft year after all...

I feel like CJ's problems were solely mental, cause dude has run never taken hits. He'll probably be a gem to some team, especially if they have a decent RB game already. He did have flashes of Trent Richardson vision the past 2 years, but maybe he just got tired of Tennessee.

Chris Johnson will do okay if he gets a line. I was never a big fan of his. Jets should really go after him.
Not sure why Dallas wants him unless he's playing defense for them.

What are the reasons why D.Jax slipped to the 2nd round? No WRs went in the 1st that year.
The article that ES posted IS believable. I had a feeling there was rift between him and Chip.
Most people have a problem with the rumors surrounding WHY he was released. If it was for insubordination etc., people could roll w/ that. Citing gang ties and having a NJ.com article drop within hours of his release is a bit TOO coincidental for my likes and leads me to believe that someone from the Eagles organization was part of leaking baseless info.
Oh well...I'm beyond elated that he's on the Skins and hope he has a great year to really rub it in the faces of the Eagles FO.
His addition (at least on paper) makes the Skins, potentially, one of the most explosive offenses in the league.
If this backfires for the Eagles, Chip will be on the hot seat barring another playoff run.
