The problem I had with the punishment was that it's not like we went out and signed a bunch of guys in free agency and gained an unfair advantage. We simply restructured Haynesworth and Hall's contracts so that they took more of a cap hit that year. This was in reality no better or worse than teams like the Bucs who UNDERspent well below what the cap floor would be in a normal year, and yet they didn't get punished.
Mara being the chair of the competition committee is not a good look IMO. Dude even said we were lucky that they didn't dock us draft picks for our egregious crimes against the spirit of the salary cap
They really think a team's owner wouldn't do anything he could to stick it to another team in the division? Not a coincidence that they went so hard after the Skins and the Cowboys.
