You realize Rodgers was riding the bench in his 3rd year
Brees was still splitting time with Doug Flutie during a 4-12 season with a rating in the sixties in 3rd year
Brady is the one that's debatable
In 2002 the Patriots missed the playoffs and Wilson has higher passing rating by about 8 points

This is not that hard
Russell Wilson is good. That's it. Great news is that he's 26 and he can get better. He's a QB who's completion percentage lacks at times, numbers fail to jump off the page a lot of times, but somebody who has terrific pocket awareness and knows how/when to extend plays that others simply don't.
Every QB on the last page that's been thrown out wouldn't have brought that to the table if they were on Seahawks, but they would bring something else that Russell Wilson can't do. And guess what: every single one of them might be just as successful (two SB appearances, one SB win - reminder, they weren't propelled into this last Super Bowl because of anything Russell Wilson did, who played his worst game of the 2014 season in the NFC Championship), because that's a great, great ******* football team.

Russell Wilson is currently Alex Smith with the ability to run. Here's to hoping he continues to improve.

Russell Wilson was like 17th in rushing one season, that's more than just being able to run, it adds another dimension to your offense

Since you seem to be ignoring it
In 8 playoff games, Russell Wilson has rushed for less than 40 yards six times. He's 5-1 in those games.

He rushed for less than 40 yards in the Packers game and the Super Bowl but his running was a factor in those games

He lost his starting center by the way everybody, and just gained a TE who might curve their offense in a way that makes most of our opinions at this point our final conclusions on 'this' version of Russell Wilson, without that element of the Seahawks offense in play. Because of his ability to get out of the pocket and threaten the run from the QB position more than Brees, opposing secondary/LBs trying to keep up with Graham at times will have to decide if they need to abandon their assignment to go after Wilson or stay true if Wilson is clearly trying to bait them.
Things will change, for Russell especially, when you implement a piece in your offense that has 26 TD in the last 25 games he's started

Russ? Definitely in the top 15, maybe even top 10.
Rodgers, Peyton, Tom, Ben, Brees, Luck are the six that I think are no question a tier above him.
I probably have him grouped in with the Eli, Flacco, Ryan, Rivers group.
Cam, Tanne, Teddy, Stafford in the wings.
Like Russ a lot, think he's got huge upside and can't wait to see him grow, but don't crown him yet.

It will be a lot more fun than giving him all the credit for a 12/20 175 yard 1 TD 105.3 QB rating effort when the Seahawks win.
