since homosexuality is not a choice, it makes sense that gays are born with their brains a little different than heteros just like someone who is left brain dominant is born with a different brain than someone that is right brain dominant. but to say "these people's brains are a little different then ours so you cant treat them like normal people" is extremely ignorant.

if the studies that gays have more white matter in their brains is true, there are two different ways to take the new information

1. great, we are now starting to have a better grasp of how the brain works and now we are getting closer to understanding why some people are homosexuals and others are not. just like how we know the scientific reason for why some people are born with different skin colors than others or why some people are born with different bone structure than others. while all this information better helps us understand the human mind, it does not mean that being gay is not normal or that they should not be treated like normal people.

2. look! gays are different from us! that proves that they have mental problems and its okay to discriminate against them!!!

Let me remind you that you are trying to change society, not me.  In the end it is up to you to show why they should have equal rights not the other way around.  The gay community always likes to claim they are just like everyone else...this says otherwise.

Wrong.  The examples you gave don't effect your actions.  Being gay does.  

There is such thing as a normal brain.  This is obvious because without there being a normal brain, it would be impossible to point out abnormal brains. There is a certain way a brain is supposed to work, and the brains that gays have aren't that way.

Also you are correct opinions do change over time. Polygamy for one. But something that harms people isn't one of those things. Completely wrong.  I didn't decide to dislike cow tongue in the moment of trying it.  I was born with the disposition to dislike it.  Whether I ever tried it or not, it was going to be something I did not like.  Do fallen trees make noise if no one is in the forest?
