Nike Air Yeezy Red October 2 Thread Officially Released VIA NDC 2/9. No BUYING/SELLING/TRADING.

I think it comes down more so to "devotion to the game". I'm a straight up Yeezy 2 stan, no denying it, but I'm not gonna take shots at someone for what they decided to do with their Yeezy's just because I wasn't able to get a pair. That being said I would've worn my pair on occasion, wouldn't have gotten rid of them till I was sick of em or got evicted.

I would still be taking shots at the "resell over everything" cats regardless if I got my pair or not. I just think they need to get jobs and leave these sneakers for people who wanna wear them.

It's about to make me gracefully bow out the game, or start only copping easy releases, cuz it shouldn't be this hard, annoying, and expensive, to cop any and everything decent these days.

I was up on Asics in 2008, getting clowned by Jordan and Foam heads for even wearing them in the WDYWT, only for years later not even being able to easily score some GR's cuz some corny Jordan and Foam heads caught on to the hype that Asics have attracted lately.

I'll be glad if this bubble does ever pop, and dumb kids and resellers stop looking at this like pokemons, and cats like me can get back to wearing sneakers cuz they genuinely like them, regardless of hype, or value (I've been doing that since the 90's, but I got love for anyone doing that, even if they just started)...

Some people would just rather have the Yeezy. Anyone can work and make 6gs but not everyone can spend $245 for a ~$6g sneaker with this much hype surrounding it. Just a difference of opinion and you both gotta get over your issues and stop defending yourselves in this kinda argument.

Whine, whine, whine.

I wanted the sneaker. Didn't get it.

And you know what?

This was the best possible release idea. It was completely unexpected and unannounced.

All of this "I been in the game" talk is foolish.

A) This is not a "game". This is your hobby. Or obsession. Or both. Either way, stop calling this the "sneaker game".

B) Quickstrikes used to happen unannounced at the mall on Wednesday. But you know that... because you "been up on this".

So if I'm a broke College student(which I am) and I can flip 245 into thousands of dollar, I need to get the fun out? Basic common sense will tell you your logic is faulty.

And please no paragraphs..... not gonna read that NS

Yeah, means you should go get a job and leave these sneakers for people who genuinely like them and wanna wear them.

You are EXACTLY what is wrong with the "game" right now.

I cant be mad at all the people who usually miss out on releases that got these. I get just about every release that I want and am bound to strike out here and there. It'd good that Nike threw the average person a bone and really stuck it to the bot services who usually gobble up every limited release like a overstuffed turkey.

This.

Rather keep the sneaker cuz I can make 6 G's rather quickly and easily.

These lil broke boys are making it too annoying tho. Even if I was dead broke, I'd go get a job, wouldn't try making tons of money off sneakers. But maybe that's cuz I can relate and sympathize with those who just think a sneaker looks nifty and wanna wear it.

I rarely get any releases due to the influx of people being attracted to super limited kicks and I'm glad I got these. I got really lucky to get a pair, yet I won't be wearing them. Selling is a no brainer to me. With that cash I can buy a few pairs of kicks that are still dumb priced, but more affordable after cashing out with these. I might be the oldest person on NT to get lucky and get them

Proto I have to say we think a like. When I got my pair in everyone was telling me to sell them but these are my first pair of yeezys. I as never able to get the Is and I always dreamed of having them. When the IIs came out I couldn't grab them became it was a crapshoot. These shoes mean a lot to me and I think that if some people aren't really into sneakers to wear them then they wouldn't understand it

nothing wrong with keeping the shoes if you like them. But its unfair for folks to assume people are bums just reflipping kicks. Don't be mad with what soembody does with their kicks. Let them live man. Why be a bitter fella

that 6K pricetag is ridiculous,

and not at all realistic considering everyone and their momma who saw the link was able to purchase the shoe and some even copped multiple.

i've seen people on IG who don't know a damn thing about shoes and are just throwing that price because of what is floating around.

the 3K is the more realistic price but it's still a thirsty price.

but hey some people can afford it and just HAVE to have to cool new thing to flex online.

I'm not bitter about what people do with the shoes at all I just agree with what Proto says about people and reselling because I don't like reselling or resellers. But I was tempted to sell these and I can't part from them. And idk if you were directing this to me but I don't hold anything towards people who resell the yeezys so idk where the "assume people are bums just reflipping kicks" part came from because I want talking about that

$6000 bucks is a lot of fine looking escorts and blow dudes. Roman orgies and ****. Think wisely. Make smart decisions.

nah not at you. The other dude.

Someone at Kanye's Penn State show tonight just said he promised his Adidas release will be general release. Anyone who wants them will be able to get them.

Seems to me like Nike was the one limiting the Yeezy numbers. Probably were hoping to sign Kanye to a long term contract first before pumping out loads of them and making real money. If Nike wanted money, they'd make boatloads by releasing a Yeezy 2 ID, but I'm thinking their egos couldn't handle admitting letting Kanye leave was a dumb mistake.

Seems to be common knowledge that Kanye left Nike because he wanted everyone to wear his shoe. Good to hear that he's getting what he wants with Adidas!
